  • Who owns “Museum Hotel” project?

    Museum Hotel is an Indigo Group project. Since 1998, it has been realized as a result of meticulous restoration works carried out by Ömer Tosun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Indigo Group, and is unique in Turkey with its "museum concept".

  • IS YOUR HOTEL A DISABLED-FRIENDLY AND/OR ACCESSIBLE HOTEL?

    The special area where Museum Hotel is located consists of tens of caves and stone houses thousands of years old. It is a historical building that focuses on preserving the entire natural structure rather than a modern building with a floor system and elevator structure. Therefore, stairs, natural obstacles, low ceilings, etc. are very possible on the way to or within a room. Therefore, our hotel is, alas, not suitable for wheelchair users or disabled guests.

  • DO ALL YOUR ROOMS HAVE AIR CONDITIONING?

    All rooms have air conditioners.

  • DO YOU ACCEPT PETS?

    Dogs are accepted to our hotel, provided that they are not over 10 kg.

  • DO YOU HAVE SMOKING ROOMS?

    All of the rooms in our hotel are non-smoking rooms. However, you can request one of our rooms with a balcony or terrace by contacting our reservation office.

  • CAN WE COME TO YOUR RESTAURANT FOR LUNCH OR DINNER WITHOUT STAYING IN YOUR HOTEL?

    Our Lil'a Restaurant is pleased to serve lunch and dinner to those not staying in our hotel. Contact our reservation team for an availability check and reservation.

  • WE WANT TO TAKE A PHOTO BEFORE THE WEDDING IN YOUR HOTEL, CAN WE DO THIS? WHAT ARE YOUR TERMS?

    Only the guests staying in our hotel can shoot images. These guests should also hire a photographer from our hotel's list of preferred photographers, as no other photographers are accepted.

  • DO YOU ACCEPT GUESTS FROM OUTSIDE THE HOTEL IN YOUR POOL?

    Our pool is only available to our guests staying in our hotel, no external guests are accepted.

  • IS YOUR POOL A THERMAL POOL? WHAT IS THE POOL TEMPERATURE? CAN IT BE USED IN WINTER?

    Our pool is open every day of the year and has a temperature of 30-32 degrees in winter. Our pool is a heated pool, not a thermal pool.

  • WHY DON'T YOU ACCEPT CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 12 IN YOUR HOTEL?

    Due to our living museum concept, our location, and the fact that we host a lot of honeymoon guests, our hotel is more suitable for adults, so we do not accept guests under the age of 12.

  • WHERE EXACTLY IS MUSEUM HOTEL? HOW FAR IS IT FROM IMPORTANT SIGHTSEEING POINTS?

    Museum Hotel is located in Uçhisar, on the peak of Cappadocia. Thanks to its ideal location, the hotel has views of Mt. Erciyes, Güvercinlik Valley, Kızıl Valley, Aşıklar Valley, Göreme, Ortahisar, and Avanos. The distances to the most important tourist areas of the Cappadocia region are: Uçhisar Castle 1km, Göreme Open Air Museum 4 km, Zelve Open Air Museum 8 km, Paşabağı Valley and Devrent Valley 10 km, Urgup 15 km, Kaymakli Underground City 25 km.

  • WHICH AIRPORT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND WE USE FOR MUSEUM HOTEL?

    There are two airports serving the Cappadocia region: Nevşehir (NAV) and Kayseri (ASR) airports. Transportation to Cappadocia is quite easy from both. Nevşehir airport is 30 km from Museum Hotel and about a half-hour drive away. Kayseri airport is 65 km away and approximately 45 minutes away.

  • WHAT IS THE BEST TIME TO VISIT CAPPADOCIA AND MUSEUM HOTEL?

    Cappadocia and Museum Hotel are very busy, especially between April and November, but this does not mean those are necessarily the best times. As you can see in our photo gallery, Cappadocia and Museum Hotel offer their guests different seasonal beauties that you will not find in any other region of the world at any time of the year.

  • WHY DID YOU DESIGNATE YOUR HOTEL AS A 'MUSEUM' ?

    The founder of the project and Museum Hotel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Indigo Group Inc., Ömer Tosun is an elite antique collector with a large collection covering the Ottoman, Seljuk, Roman, Byzantine, and Hittite periods. From the very beginning of the project, it was planned that hotel guests would live ancient years in their rooms, taste the Cappadocia culture in all its delicacy, and have the feeling of a "living museum" throughout the hotel.

  • DO YOU HAVE A ROOM FOR CLAUSTROPHOBIC PEOPLE?

    While all our rooms have tall windows and sufficient natural lighting, we also have specially designed rooms for these situations. Guests just need to mention their concerns to us in advance.
