Museum Concept
Operating since 2003, Museum Hotel is the world’s first museum concept hotel. It contains hundreds of priceless historical artifacts belonging to the Hittite, Roman, Seljuk, and Ottoman periods, registered in Nevşehir Museum and exhibited (with great care taken) in all the hotel rooms, general areas, cave tunnels, and the hotel restaurant.
Museum Hotel offers Cappadocian culture, architecture, traditions, lifestyle, historical Cappadocian cuisine, and even near-forgotten local clothing styles to create its unique "living museum" concept.
The concept of a "living museum" has been brought to life with the restoration of ancient caves, stone houses, and buildings, and are today magnificent examples of the stone workmanship of the region.
