Born in Istanbul, she began her training in painting at the Bedri Rahmi Atelier at the Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts. Most of her paintings, created in the expressionist genre, feature Istanbul’s famous district, “Beyoğlu” (modern day Pera). As the president of the Turkish Painters Association, she continues her work at her own atelier.
Was born in Şiran in 1948. She completed her education at Istanbul Kız Lisesi (high school) and subsequently at the College of Science (Department of Biology) in Istanbul University. Her talent for painting attracted her teachers’ attention when she was young, with most of her paintings being interpretations of nature. In her career to date, she has participated in both national and foreign group exhibitions, as well as 21 personal exhibitions.
Was born in 1944, and is a well-known Turkish naïve painter. In 1988, she began painting her poems and started to work with artists Mustafa Dulda and Ahmet Akala at the Adana Fine Arts Gallery. Since 1989, she has been working at her own atelier. She has no formal academic background, but as used this to her advantage to develop her unique individual style. In 1993, she joined the group “Turkish Naïves”, and since then has participated in various exhibitions both in Turkey and abroad.
Was born in 1954 in Çorlu. She graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy of Istanbul University in 1977. Since 1998, in spite of a heavy workload, she has managed to realize her passion for painting, thanks to the encouragement of her father. As the honorary president of the Çorlu Culture and Art Organization and a member of the Turkish Painters Association, she continues to work at her own atelier. She employed the oil painting technique in her pieces until 2006, since when she has enhanced these works through the paper marbling technique, after studying with Vedat Vaytaş.
Born in Istanbul, she graduated from the Fine Art Painting Department of the Beyoğlu Institute of Maturation and subsequently from the Institute of Bakırköy’s Painting Department. She has expanded her career into decoration, ornamentation, and couture. She opened her first exhibition, “The Dance of Dreams in Soil”, in 1990, and has been continuing her work at the atelier of Sevim Gürsoy Tunçyıldız. She is also a member of the Turkish Painters Association.
Graduated from the Bedri Rahmi Eyüboğlu Atelier in the Faculty of Fine Arts, Mimar Sinan University in 1971. Between 1974 and 1975, she continued her education in gravure printing techniques at the Madrid Fine Arts Academy in Spain. Being a romantic, pastoral, colorist and a partly naïve expressionist, she expresses and paints nature from her own distinct point of view and color selection, avoiding perspective. Reds, purples, pinks and greens are the colors she mainly uses.
“Dokunanlar Group Painting and Sculpture Exhibition” has been prepared by painter Gökhan Uğur, sculpture Tülay Karavit, painter Emine M. Güler, sculpture Yağmur Çalış and painter Oya Başaran. The exhibition can be visited in Museum Hotel until April 25th 2015.
Passed away in 2010 and deemed worthy ‘Living Human Treasures’ award as the first tile artist by UNESCO and introduced using the title ‘Crazy Picasso from Kütahya’ by Germany’s leading magazine der Spiegel, greate artist Sıtkı Olçar’s unique art; has been resumed by his doughter in Art Workshop over from her father.
Pay her dept of gratitude to her great artist father and to traditional tile art by designing tiles on the line of modern Nida Olçar’s Traditional Handicrafts that Master Sıtkı gave hand and by immortalizing Master Sıtkı’s tiles.
In 1943, he was born in Tokat. Istanbul State Academy of Fine Arts in 1965 and began to study at the Department of Textile Patterns Ramzi Iren; graduated from this department in 1970. Advertising agencies, graphic arts and theater scene was a student decorator Dormen made. Ramzi Iren, dealing with 1970 's to the present painting, participating in group and solo exhibitions. Is again on the regional and folkloric elements. Still continuing to work in her own studio picture Ramzi Iren married and has two children.
Began her art education in 1958-60 at the Cemal Tollu Atelier of Fine Arts Academy. She continued her training in 1970-80 in Ankara at the Lütfü Günay Atelier. In 1985-90, she studied drawing with Orhan Çetinkaya in Ankara, and gained an honorable mention in a competition for the magazine “Ankara Art”. Her ‘Ana’ was on display in the collection at İş Bank in England. She has held 17 personal exhibitions, is a member of both Ankara Women Painters and of the Istanbul Painters Society. She continues her studies at her own atelier and the Ütopya Art Atelier.
